SoundStruck is a Brisbane based percussion group dedicated to delivering high impact and entertaining percussion music with visual effects. Well known for their explosive paint drumming performance “Etna”, SoundStruck has captivated audiences around the country including events such as 2018 Commonwealth Games, The Toowoomba Food, Wine & Flower Festival, Bridge to Brisbane, New Year’s Celebrations at Paradise Point and the ICC Cricket World Cup. The group has brought their energy and creative talents to corporate stages around Australia, providing opening act entertainment for clients including Events Management Queensland, ADMA, VACC, Volkswagen and Isagenix among many others.

Each of their performance pieces combines a different aspect of visual effects to the music and their energetic movement. Their first piece, Etna, was inspired by the Blue Man Group and choreographed shows like STOMP. It has seen SoundStruck perform at The Star Casino and the Paradise Point Parklands. SoundStruck has received invitations to perform at the X Music Festival,  Game Show Network’s Skin Wars, as well as national and international corporate events.

Their following production, Noff, showcases harmonic whirlies or whippy tubes as a visualisation of sound. SoundStruck has performed their pieces for whirlies at weddings, corporate events across Brisbane and the 2015 Asia Pacific Cities Summit.

Finally, Up the Body & Down the Page showcased the group’s experimentation with body percussion and lighting effects. This performance was designed as an interactive experience, suitable for workshops and crowd interaction.
